Kim describes himself as a steward of the material in the Sons of God Wartime Field Manual. His goal is not to build a platform around spiritual warfare, but to equip believers to know Christ, recognize deception, walk in truth, and serve the Church.
Kim was raised in a Christian home, spent nearly forty years in business, and came under the guidance of a discipler in his early thirties. He continued studying under that mentor for more than three decades and began discipling others in his early forties.
After leaving the business world, Kim devoted the next decade to full-time men’s discipleship. The ideas in the Wartime Field Manual were tested and refined through years of study, ministry, trusted Christian relationships, and practical discipleship — including the community that became the Spiritual Gym.
Kim and his wife, Rhonda, married in 1977. Their family includes three married children, eleven grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
The manual repeatedly invites readers to challenge assumptions and compare teaching with Scripture. That posture should define every public appearance, interview, resource, and event connected to the brand.
